Terms, Billing & Client Responsibilities

Terms of Service Agreement

Please read these terms carefully before booking or using Glendora Dog Walking. These terms explain how bookings work, when payment is due, what happens if a visit is canceled, and the responsibilities of both the client and the service provider.

Effective Date: April 27, 2026 Serving Glendora, CA & nearby communities

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website and services provided by Glendora Dog Walking ("we," "us," or "our"). By submitting a booking request, scheduling a service, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or request services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or requesting services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or are acting with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who has authority to agree to these Terms on your behalf.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page is the version that applies unless otherwise stated.

2. Services

We provide pet care services that may include dog walking, pet sitting, drop-in visits, and overnight boarding. The exact scope of service depends on availability, the pet’s needs, the booking details you provide, and any specific arrangements we confirm in writing.

Service descriptions, durations, and pricing shown on our website are for general informational purposes and may be adjusted based on household details, pet behavior, scheduling, holiday periods, mileage, special care requirements, or other factors that are disclosed before service begins.

3. Booking Requests

Booking requests submitted through our website or by phone, text, or email are requests for service and are not a guarantee of availability until confirmed by us. We may decline, modify, or reschedule a request if we are unavailable or if the request falls outside our service area or service capabilities.

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when booking, including your contact information, pet information, address, and any special instructions that may affect service.

4. Payment Terms

You agree to pay all fees associated with the services you request. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, payment is due according to the invoice, booking confirmation, or payment instructions we provide. In some cases, we may require a deposit or payment in full before service begins.

You are responsible for any applicable fees related to the requested service, including add-on charges, holiday rates, extra pet fees, late cancellation fees, travel surcharges, supply costs, or other disclosed charges that are reasonably necessary to complete the service.

Important: By reserving a time slot, you acknowledge that we may hold that time exclusively for your booking and may decline other work. If you cancel late, no-show, or otherwise fail to make your pet available, you may still owe the full or partial service fee depending on the circumstances and any written confirmation we provide.

If payment is declined, reversed, disputed, or otherwise not received when due, we may suspend future service, refuse additional bookings, or pursue collection of the outstanding balance as permitted by law.

We currently do not offer recurring subscription billing or automatic renewal plans unless we clearly state otherwise for a specific service arrangement.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that schedules change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. The amount of any refund, credit, or cancellation charge will depend on how much advance notice you provide, whether we have already reserved time for your booking, and whether service work has already begun.

Repeated late cancellations, repeated no-shows, or repeated schedule changes may result in reduced availability, advance payment requirements, or refusal of future bookings.

If we must cancel due to weather, safety concerns, illness, or another reason outside our control, we will attempt to notify you promptly and may offer rescheduling or a refund where appropriate.

6. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that your pet is legally allowed to be handled, boarded, or walked, and that all information you provide is accurate and complete. You agree to disclose any behavior issues, medical concerns, allergies, aggression, biting history, escape risk, or special handling requirements before service begins.

You also agree to maintain appropriate vaccinations, licensing, and preventive care for your pet, unless we agree otherwise in writing. You are responsible for any supplies we reasonably need to perform the service, unless we specifically state that we will provide them.

7. Safety & Pet Health

We will use reasonable care while providing services, but pets can be unpredictable. You understand that dogs and other animals may react to weather, traffic, other animals, people, sounds, or environmental conditions in ways that cannot always be controlled.

If your pet becomes ill, injured, or exhibits urgent symptoms while in our care, you authorize us to seek reasonable assistance and to contact you, your emergency contact, or a veterinarian as appropriate. You are responsible for veterinary costs and emergency-related expenses unless otherwise required by law or expressly agreed in writing.

We reserve the right to refuse or stop service if we believe a pet, person, or property condition creates an unsafe situation.

8. Access & Home Entry

If a service requires access to your home, yard, lockbox, key, gate code, alarm code, or similar access method, you authorize us to use the access information you provide solely for the purpose of delivering the requested service. You are responsible for ensuring that the access instructions are accurate and that we have permission to use them.

You agree to notify us promptly of any changes to keys, lock codes, alarm settings, or entry instructions. We are not responsible for delays or missed visits caused by inaccurate or incomplete access information.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Glendora Dog Walking will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our website or services.

You agree that our total liability for any claim related to a service, booking, or website use will be limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, except where a different limit is required by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Communications

By submitting your contact information, you agree that we may contact you by email, phone, or text message regarding bookings, service updates, confirmations, or customer support. Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier.

We may retain communications for scheduling, support, business, and legal purposes. Please review our Privacy Policy for more information about how we handle personal information.

11. Intellectual Property

Our website content, branding, logos, text, graphics, and other materials are owned by us or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or distribute our materials without prior written permission, except as allowed by law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will post the revised version on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the website or services after a change is posted means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be handled in a venue with proper jurisdiction and venue, unless the law requires otherwise.
